The Meteor yoyo is the signature model from the 2008 and 2009 Japanese Nationals Champion, Hiroyuki Suzuki. This signature model has slightly thicker rims, giving the yoyo more stability and spinning power. The Meteor has the new YoyoJam standard mirror caps.
It uses a C Bearing and has recessed silicone pads on each side of the yo-yo for a smooth response. It also allows you to upgrade or downgrade (depending on your response preference) to large bearing friction pads. This is an unresponsive yoyo, which means a bind is required to wake the yoyo back to your hand.
If you’re looking for a smooth, consistent and fast yoyo, give the Yoyojam Meteor a try. It’s a heavy yoyo weighing in at 66.8 grams, but it plays light. The straight shape lets you hit string tricks in long combinations and the bead blasted finish makes for great grinds.
