Tom Kuhn Roller Woody yo yo is pretty good condition. The bearings still roll very well. The paint is chipped as pictured. This was my yoyo and I haven't yoyo'd for a years, but I did test out the bearings. The bearing still spin excellently and this would make a great practice yoyo for an adult, or a great yoyo for a kid who is going to beat up a toy and is cool with having a used toy. It comes with an extra string.
This yoyo is adjustable by tightening or loosening the halves with a screwdriver in the slots on the inner sides of the yoyo halves. It is the normal righty-tighty and lefty-loosey for adjustments and the adjustments should be made equally to each half. When you tighten the halves onto the axle you should not tighten them down much - I would say a loose-finger-tight. The working parts are metal but its just a yoyo so there is no need to make anything super tight.
The halves are made of wood. The axle and bearing are metal and have lasted a very long time already so there is a lot of life left in this. Everything screws together tightly.
The paint is chipped as pictured so this may not make a great gift but it is still a very good yoyo. I do not think I have the original manual or box but if I find them I will include them with the yoyo.
