    Description

    RARE Antique Steuben Pink Rim & Swirl On Clear Art Glass Compote. Steuben made a lot of compotes in similar forms some of which have 2 colors with applied rims but what makes this one stand out is that not only are the rims applied in pink but also the stem is spiraled and has an applied twisted strip of pink glass which fills the gaps. Unsigned but a well known Steuben form. The underside has a pontil mark and the interior of the bowl has a polished pontil mark. Stands 6 1/8” in height and has a top diameter of 6 3/8”. Great condition with no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs.
