made in USA of Steuben's original formula purest crystal is engraved with the blessing of the wine and grape clusters.  This very rare design comes in it's fine fitted red leather presentation case. Designed by Bernard X. Wolff, noted for
Balloon
Rally
and many other famous works.  This is also initialed by the designer.  Steuben would sometimes have designers in the showroom to sign their works--like book signings, it enhances the value of this design.
This Kiddush Cup was only available briefly from Steuben over thirty years ago.  It is
new in box
with
no chips, no cracks, no scuffs, no "flea" bites, no scratches anywhere.
Measures approx. 5" wide by 8" tall. This is a heavy authentic piece that will come wrapped in its fine velvet lined original red leather fitted case designed for masterworks.
Steuben was noted for their rigorous attention to detail and for the high quality of their glass. They stated in their literature that they did not market "seconds". In fact, they noted that such pieces were destroyed in house. Steuben Glass was founded by Frederick Carder in 1903 and was located in the Fingerlakes Region of New York State. By following strict standards for design and manufacture they achieved recognition as the world's premier glassworks. Steuben Glass was frequently the gift of state by US Presidents to foreign dignitaries. Steuben, a recognized luxury brand. Because of these factors, a well maintained/handmade Steuben collectible will increase in value over time.
