This expressive pair of art glass sculptures, the reclining Mink and upright Mink are in
new/undisplayed
condition with
no chips, no cracks, no scuffs and on the
closest inspection, no scratches on the body or base
bottoms.  Each is correctly signed "Steuben" in script on the base bottom.
The upright Mink is approx. 8" tall and the reclining Mink is approx. 9" long.  They are heavy figurines at about 3+lbs. each with applied tiny ears and tails and tooled facial features. These will be packed in their fine vintage Steuben gift box, wrapped in flannel Steuben bags with care booklet. You will be thrilled with these works of glassmaking artistry.

Steuben Glass was the premier American glass company founded by Frederick Carder in 1903. It ranked as the world's foremost artisan glass house. Steuben glass was handmade by American craftsmen at the works in Corning NY and was frequently the United States' gift of State to foreign dignitaries. Steuben marketed no "seconds". Items that did not meet their exacting standards were destroyed by being smashed in a bin. Steuben, a recognized luxury brand and the ultimate in art glass. Since the glassworks closed and was torn down in 2012 it has been almost impossible to find scratch free collector worthy examples of this original 10m formula Steuben Glass.
