perfect for someone very special. A heavy prismatic column of original formula Steuben crystal is engraved with detailed butterflies amid flowing vines. The butterflies are magnified at every angle to reflect a pattern of butterflies on the surfaces around you. Beautiful for the special Birthday or anniversary, at Table settings amid flowers, desk top, vanity, guest bedroom... This is a stunning highly detailed design in new in box condition by Joel Smith and Timothy C. Angell.
This lovely sculpture has the superb styling that was a hallmark of Steuben.  There are no chips, no nicks, no scratches and no base bottom wear.  The crystal base is signed "Steuben" in script.  This measures approx. 8" tall by 4" wide with beautiful
clarity and refraction of light into it's rainbow spectrum.
Comes with black granite Steuben display base and
fine condition box and flannel dust bags.

Steuben Glass was the premier American glass company founded by Frederick Carder in 1903. It ranked as the world's foremost artisan glass house. Hand formed by American craftsmen at the works in Corning NY, it was frequently the United States' gift of State to foreign dignitaries. Steuben marketed no "seconds," items that did not meet their exacting standards were destroyed by being smashed in a bin. Steuben, a recognized luxury brand and the ultimate in art glass.
